Paid Service Terms

These terms apply when you purchase a Face.it plan or a one-off pack. They supplement — and do not replace — our general Terms of Use.

1.Scope

These Paid Service Terms apply to any paid purchase you make on Face.it, including recurring subscriptions and one-time pack purchases. Where these terms conflict with our general Terms of Use, these terms prevail for paid features.

2.Pricing & plans

Current prices, plan allowances, and feature differences are published on our Pricing page. Prices are quoted in US Dollars unless stated otherwise. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay.

3.Billing & renewal

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly cycle starting on the date you first subscribe. Unless you cancel before the end of the current period, your subscription automatically renews at the then-current price for successive periods of the same length. Usage allowances (e.g. generations per month) reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over.

One-off pack purchases are billed once at the time of purchase and grant you the ability to generate a single pack.

4.Refunds & statutory rights

No-refund default on successful generations. Face.it delivers digital content that is generated and delivered immediately on request, and each generation consumes non-recoverable third-party provider cost. Paid generations are therefore non-refundable once the generation has started and produced an Output — regardless of whether the Output meets your subjective expectations of style, likeness, or aesthetic quality. All generations are probabilistic AI output; variance is inherent to the Service, not a defect.

Failed generations (our fault). If a generation fails because of a fault on our side — provider outage, pipeline error, or a pack that enters the FAILED state without delivering Outputs — you are entitled to, at your election:

  • a retry at no additional charge; or
  • a full refund of the fee paid for that specific generation, processed within seven (7) business days of a valid refund request to legal@facey.it.

Statutory consumer rights — defensive. Face.it is not offered to residents of the EEA or the United Kingdom (see Terms of Use §2). If, despite the geo-block, a consumer in a jurisdiction with a statutory cooling-off period for digital services reaches the Service, those rights are not affected by this agreement. By starting a generation you acknowledge that the service is performed immediately and that any right of withdrawal for the executed generation will be lost once performance begins, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

5.Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, we will retry automatically for a short period and notify you by email. If payment cannot be collected, your subscription will be downgraded to the free tier and your paid features will be suspended until a successful payment is received.

6.Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access to paid features until then. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for the unused portion of a billing period.

7.Price changes

We may change our prices from time to time. If we change the price of your subscription, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the new price takes effect. You may cancel before the new price applies — otherwise, continued use of the subscription constitutes acceptance of the new price.

8.Taxes

Prices shown are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Where we are required to collect VAT, GST, sales tax, or similar indirect taxes, these will be added at checkout based on your billing location. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your use of the Service and that we are not required to collect.

9.Payment processor

Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store your full card number or other sensitive payment credentials on our servers. Your use of the payment service is subject to the processor's own terms and privacy policy in addition to ours.
